Owls are the definition of mystical and enchanting in my experience. My photography encounters with them always leaves me with awe at just how good their camouflage is and how captivating and interesting as a species these birds are. As always, the photographs are truly raw in their capture. But in my art, I attempt to soften them a bit, both through my drawing and ceramics. This artwork is one such attempt and is a beautiful work to adorn any space, to both bring in conversation and enchantment.
