• Shipping and Packaging

Please allow 1-2 weeks time to process your order for print orders.

Orders are shipped through USPS generally. Once shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking details.

We ship locally and internationally. Shipping charges vary depending on the delivery location.

Smaller prints are packed in rigid flat mailers and larger prints in packing tubes.

Given the nature of our products, we don’t do rush orders.

All your orders are verified, packed and shipped by me or Shankar personally.

    Returns and Cancellations

All sales are final. We are a small business and often print on demand. This means we print and ship specifically to you since you had ordered a particular product.

If you are unhappy with your product for any reason or received a damaged product, you can always reach out to me at hello@divyashankar.com and I can work with you to see how I can resolve it for you.

I am not liable for failed delivery, mishandling or damages by the shipping service.

You will receive a confirmation email upon making a purchase directly through the website. If you have placed an order directly, you will still receive email communication directly from me.

At the time of placing or confirming the order, please check to ensure that your delivery address and all related information is correct. If an order is returned to me due to an incorrect address, I am more than willing to send it back for an additional delivery and handling fee.

If the delivery address is correct and you believe that the package is stolen or lost, then please contact the shipping service directly. Unfortunately there is nothing that I can do on my end in such cases.

    International Shipping Customs & Duties

If applicable, all customs charges, GST and VAT are the responsibility of the customer when purchasing goods internationally.

    Local Pickup

I can offer pickup if you are in San Francisco. Please contact me after you have placed the order and I can communicate the pickup location.

  • Do you offer prints?

Yes I do! Please reach out to me at hello@divyashankar.com and I can share my print catalogues with you.

    How can I order prints?

The print ordering details are available in the print catalogues. Once you have decided on the prints you are interested in ordering, you can use this form to contact me with the details of the print/s you are interested in (or) drop me an email at hello@divyashankar.com, and I’ll get back to you with a quote for the order.

Where do you print your pictures? Do I get to review the final pictures and approve them before printing?

I print them at my home studio. Once you have confirmed and paid for your order, the selected images are proofed by me, verified/ approved by you, then printed, packed and shipped by me personally to you.

Where print sizes do you offer? Do you also frame the prints?

The standard print sizes are in 2:3 ratio and the actual possible print size depends on the picture itself, especially if it has been cropped. I do not provide frames presently. However if you are in and around the bay area, I can work with you to offer framing along with the prints if you are so inclined. You can refer to this page for more details around this.

  • What is your photography gear?

All my photographs are taken using a Sony A1. I shoot primarily using a prime lens - 600mm F/4 for wildlife and birds. I also like taking wide angle shots to represent the environment of the bird or animal and shoot using the Sony FE 70-200 GM OSS II. For flowers and more wide angle shots, I love the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8.

I started with the Sony FE 100-400mm and FE 200-600mm originally and while they are exceptional lenses, I have settled with the above gear as my go-to. Shankar uses them for videography these days, so all is good ^_^
